Preliminary System Checks

SYSTEM CHECKS
Perform the checks listed below and then refer to Chart 1 Passive Keyless Entry/Security System (PKE/SS) Diagnostic Routine. Chart #1 PKE/SS Diagnostic Routine

^ Open driver side and passenger side windows.

^ Separate Ignition and door keys from transmitter.

^ Remove all functional transmitters from antenna range.

^ Verify normal operation of Headlamps, Horns, Power Door Locks, Door Jamb Switches and Engine Compartment Light.

^ Verify normal vehicle and transmitter battery voltages.

^ Fully close hood before beginning PKE/SS Diagnostic Routine.
