Courtesy Lighting Functions

Interior Courtesy Lights will illuminate if a remote unlock occurs. The lights will remain "ON" for 40 seconds or until a vehicle door opens. Anytime a vehicle door opens, the system waits for the doors to close. If, one of the doors that was opened or closed was the driver's door, the Courtesy Lights will remain "ON" for 10 seconds or until the vehicle Ignition is turned "ON," after which the lights will slow "dim-to-off." If the Courtesy Lights are turned on from a switch other than the driver's door (I/P Switch or other doors), the Courtesy Lights will finish the 40 second time-out.
