Rocker Arm Studs Replace

Rocker arm studs that have damaged threads or are loose in cylinder head should be replaced with oversize studs. Studs are available in oversizes of .003 and .013 inch and can be installed after reaming holes as follows:
1. Remove stud using tool No. J-5802-1 or equivalent with a nut and flat washer placed over the tool.
2. Ream hole for oversize stud using tool No. J-5715 for .003 inch oversize or tool No. J-6036 for .013 inch oversize.
3. Apply suitable axle lubricant to press fit area of stud, then install new stud using tool No. J-6880 or equivalent.
