Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side (AWD)
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon).
2. Remove the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement Service and Repair.
3. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LSA-Coupe) Exhaust System Replacement (Coupe)Exhaust System Replacement (LSA-Sedan/Wagon) Exhaust System Replacement (Sedan/Wagon)Exhaust System Replacement (Single Exhaust) Exhaust System Replacement (Single Exhaust)Exhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Coupe) Exhaust System Replacement (Coupe)Exhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Sedan/Wagon) Exhaust System Replacement (Sedan/Wagon).
4. Remove the upper engine mount retaining nut (1).
5. Remove the lower engine mount retaining nuts.
6. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.
Note: Note position of the engine mount prior to removing mount.
7. Using the screw jack, raise the engine enough to remove the engine mount.
8. Remove the engine mount (1) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Ensure the proper configuration is being used and install the engine mount (1) to the vehicle.
2. Using the screw jack, lower the engine.
3. Remove the screw jack and block of wood supporting the engine.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.
4. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut (1) and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).
5. Install the right and left lower engine mount retaining nuts and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).
6. Install the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LSA-Coupe) Exhaust System Replacement (Coupe)Exhaust System Replacement (LSA-Sedan/Wagon) Exhaust System Replacement (Sedan/Wagon)Exhaust System Replacement (Single Exhaust) Exhaust System Replacement (Single Exhaust)Exhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Coupe) Exhaust System Replacement (Coupe)Exhaust System Replacement (LFX/LFW-Sedan/Wagon) Exhaust System Replacement (Sedan/Wagon).
7. Install the cross vehicle brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement Service and Repair.
8. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Coupe)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Sedan,Wagon).
