Differential Housing Support Bushing Replacement (Right)

DT-48060-A Bushing Remover/Installer

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.
2. Remove the rear differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement Differential Replacement.




3. Remove the insulator (1) from the rear differential assembly (2).





Important: Apply a small amount of clean oil on the threads of the DT-48060-A .


Important: Check the bore of the bushing for any damage. If there is any damage found, cracks, etc., replace the differential assembly.


4. Using the DT-48060-A , remove the differential housing support bushing.

Installation Procedure




1. Using the DT-48060-A , install the differential housing support bushing.




2. Install the insulator (1) on the rear differential assembly (2).
3. Install rear differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement Differential Replacement.
4. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
