Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the left exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal - Left Side (Overhaul).
3. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.




4. Remove the upper engine mount retaining nut.





Note: Ensure not to distort or bend the engine mount heat shield.

5. Remove the left engine mount bracket retaining bolts.
6. Remove the left engine mount bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the left engine mount brackets.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the left engine mount bracket retaining bolts and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).




3. Install the upper engine mount retaining nut and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).
4. Remove the screw jack.
5. Install the left exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Removal - Left Side (Overhaul).
6. Lower the vehicle.
