Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side (AWD)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the power steering gear. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement (with All Wheel Drive) (Service and Repair)Steering Gear Replacement (with Rear Wheel Drive) (Service and Repair) .
2. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (Engine Support Fixture) .
3. Remove the lower engine mount retaining nut.

Important: Ensure not to distort or bend the engine mount heat shield.


4. Remove the engine mount and engine mount bracket as an assembly. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (AWD) (Service and Repair)Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (RWD) (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the top engine mount retaining nut (1).
6. Remove the engine mount (2) from the engine mount bracket.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine mount (2) to the engine mount bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the top engine mount retaining nut (1).

Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

3. Install the engine mount and engine mount bracket as an assembly. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (AWD) (Service and Repair)Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Left Side (RWD) (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the engine mount lower retaining nut.

Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

5. Install the power steering gear. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement (with All Wheel Drive) (Service and Repair)Steering Gear Replacement (with Rear Wheel Drive) (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (Engine Support Fixture) .
