Wiper Motor Replacement
WIPER MOTOR REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the air inlet grille panel.
2. Remove the wiper drive system module.
3. Remove the wiper motor crank arm.
4. Remove the wiper motor mounting screws.
5. Remove the wiper motor from the wiper motor module.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Position the wiper motor to the wiper motor module.
2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.
Install the wiper motor screws.
Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
3. Install the wiper motor crank arm.
4. Install the wiper drive system module.
5. IMPORTANT: If the washer fluid line is pulled upwards at the air inlet grill during service, this could cause interference between the line and the wiper system. The fluid line may have to be repositioned by removing the access panel at the lower rear of the wheelhouse.
Install the air inlet grille panel.
6. Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
