Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the knee bolster trim. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .




2. Remove the screws (2) securing the knee bolster bracket to the instrument panel (I/P).
3. Remove the knee bolster bracket.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the tabs (1) to the I/P carrier in order to install the knee bolster bracket.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .


2. Install the screws (2) securing the knee bolster bracket to the I/P.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the knee bolster trim. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
