Front Position Sensor Replacement - Electronic Suspension

Removal Procedure
1. Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2. Raise the vehicle on a suitable safety stand. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.





4. Disconnect the ESC position sensor harness connector.





5. Remove the position sensor link from the control arm link stud.
6. Remove the position sensor mounting bolts.
7. Remove the position sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the position sensor in the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the position sensor mounting bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 3 Nm (26 inch lbs.).
3. Install the position sensor link to the control arm link stud.





4. Connect the ESC position sensor harness connector.
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
6. Lower the vehicle.
