INFLATABLE RESTRAINT SIDE IMPACT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2.




2. Remove the retaining bolts from the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
3. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the sensor from the vehicle.
2. Install the retaining bolts to the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2.
