27. Secondary Camshaft Intermediate Drive Chain Removal - Left
Secondary Camshaft Drive Chain Removal - Left1. Remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain tensioner.
Notice: Refer to Torque Reaction Against Timing Drive Chain Notice.
2. Use an open end wrench on the hex cast, into the camshaft, in order to prevent the camshaft from rotating when removing the camshaft position actuator oil control valve.
3. Remove the camshaft position actuator oil control valve.
4. Slide the camshaft position actuator off the camshaft and remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain from the camshaft position actuator teeth.
5. Lift the left secondary camshaft drive chain from the camshaft intermediate drive shaft sprocket teeth.
6. Remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain from the engine.
7. Remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain shoe bolt.
8. Remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain shoe.
9. Remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain guide bolt.
10. Remove the left secondary camshaft drive chain guide.
