Retainer Replacement - Folding Top Headliner Trim Panel - Side

RETAINER REPLACEMENT - FOLDING TOP HEADLINER TRIM PANEL - SIDE

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Manually open the folding top as shown in the illustration. Refer to Folding Top Manual Operation in Sunroof/Moonroof.




2. Remove the screw from the trim panel retainer.
3. Remove the trim panel retainer from the roof panel by pulling to disengage the retainers.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the trim panel retainer to the roof panel. Push to engage the retainers.
2. Install the retainer screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

3. Manually close the folding top. Refer to Folding Top Manual Operation in Sunroof/Moonroof.
