Receiver Replacement - Digital Radio

RECEIVER REPLACEMENT - DIGITAL RADIO

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear compartment stowage trim.

IMPORTANT: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.




2. Remove the 3 retaining nuts to the digital radio receiver from the mounting bracket.




3. Lower the receiver from the mounting bracket and disconnect the coaxial and the electrical leads from the receiver.
4. Remove the radio receiver from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the digital radio receiver to the vehicle and connect the coaxial and the electrical leads to the receiver.




2. Install the receiver to the mounting bracket and install 3 retaining nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Remove the rear compartment stowage trim.
4. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Setup.
