Oil Pan Cover Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Drain the engine oil.
2. Remove the oil filter.





3. Remove the oil pan cover bolts, cover, and gasket.
4. Discard the gasket.

Installation Procedure





1. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install a new gasket, the cover, and bolts.
Tighten the oil pan cover bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).





2. Install the oil filter.
Tighten the oil filter to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
3. Refill the engine oil.
