86. Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Installation

Thermostat Housing Installation





1. Install a new O-ring seal.
2. Install the thermostat housing with the thermostat.





3. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004, (Canadian P/N 10953480), to the thermostat housing bolts.

Notice: Install the thermostat housing bolts.

4. Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





5. Apply engine coolant to new seals on coolant pipe.
6. Install O-rings on coolant pipe.





7. Install coolant pipe into the thermostat housing.
