Oil Pump Pipe and Screen Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts (2).
3. Remove the oil pump pipe screen bolts (1).
4. Remove the oil pump pipe screen from the engine.
5. Remove the O-ring seal. Do not reuse the seal.
6. Clean and inspect the oil pump pipe screen.

Installation Procedure





1. Insert a new O-ring seal fully into the seal groove.





2. Position the oil pump pipe screen to the engine.

Notice: Install the oil pump pipe screen bolts (1).

3. Tighten the oil pump pipe screen bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
4. Install the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts (2).
Tighten the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts to 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.).
5. Install the oil pan.
