Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Shut-Off Valve Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement (Bank 1)







REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.
2. Remove the two nuts securing the shut-off valve to the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe.
3. Remove the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe.







INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe and new gasket to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.
2. Install the two nuts securing the bank 1 AIR outlet pipe to the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Vehicle Damage Warnings

Tighten
Tighten the two nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the bank 1 AIR shut-off valve.
