Timing Belt Tensioner Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the timing belt.







2. Remove the timing belt tensioner bracket bolts.
3. Remove the timing belt tensioner bracket with the tensioner and idler pulleys attached.



Installation Procedure
1. Install the timing belt tensioner bracket with the tensioner and idler pulleys attached.







Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the timing belt tensioner bracket bolts.
Tighten the timing belt tensioner bracket bolts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the timing belt.
