Service Steering System

The IPC illuminates the SERVICE STEERING SYS 127 indicator in the DIC when the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects certain malfunctions in the Variable Effort Steering (VES) system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
