Service Electrical System

The IPC illuminates the SERVICE ELECTRICAL SYS - 106 indicator in the DIC when the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or the Dash Integration Module (DIM) detects certain malfunctions in the vehicle electrical system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM or the DIM requesting illumination.
