General Information

The DIM monitors the sensor to determine low side pressure based on the pressure to temperature relationships of R134a and prevents evaporator core freeze in mild temperatures. A 5-volt reference signal is sent out on the A/C refrigerant low temperature sensor signal circuit. A thermister inside the sensor varies the voltage based on A/C temperatures. The remaining voltage is sent back to the DIM on the low reference circuit.
