1-2 and 3-4 Shift Solenoid ReplacementRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the transmission oil pan and filter.
2. Disconnect the shift solenoid electrical connector.
3. Remove the retaining pin (2). Use pliers to pull pin out.
4. Remove the shift solenoid valve (1).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the shift solenoid valve (1).
2. Install the retaining pin (1). Use a soft mallet to drive the retaining pin in.
3. Connect the shift solenoid electrical connector.
4. Install the transmission filter and the oil pan.
