Intake Plenum Switchover Valve Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Remove the intake plenum.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose at the actuator.
3. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve to plenum bolts.
4. Remove the switchover valve from the intake plenum (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. install the switchover valve to the intake plenum (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the intake plenum switchover valve to plenum bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Connect the vacuum hose at the actuator.
4. Install the intake plenum.
