Intake Plenum Switchover Solenoid Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switchover solenoid.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the switchover solenoid and the switchover valve.
3. Remove the intake plenum switchover solenoid to plenum bolts
4. Remove the switchover solenoid (1) from the intake plenum.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the switchover solenoid (1) on the intake plenum.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the intake plenum switchover solenoid to plenum bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Connect the vacuum hoses to the switchover solenoid and the switchover valve.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the switchover solenoid.
