Fuel Tank Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the fuel tank heat shield nuts.
3. Remove the fuel tank heat shield.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the heat shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the fuel tank heat shield nuts.
Tighten the fuel tank heat shield nuts to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
