Rear Sunshade Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear window sunshade. Refer to Rear Sunshade Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Remove rear window sunshade flywheel screw (3).
3. Remove rear window sunshade transmission flywheel from the sunshade motor.
4. Disconnect the sunshade motor electrical connector.




5. Remove three screws and rear window sunshade motor from the sunshade assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear window sunshade motor to the sunshade assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the sunshade motor screws.

Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




3. Connect the sunshade motor electrical connector.
4. Install rear the window sunshade transmission flywheel by:

1. Turn sunshade motor clockwise until the motor stops.
2. Install sunshade transmission flywheel (2), it maybe necessary to turn the flywheel counter-clockwise until it engages on to the motor shaft (1).

5. Install the sunshade transmission flywheel screw.

Tighten the screw to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

6. Install the rear window sunshade. Refer to Rear Sunshade Replacement (Service and Repair).
