Rear Position Sensor Replacement -Electronic Suspension
Removal Procedure1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the wheel from the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
3. Disconnect the sensor harness connector (1) from the vehicle harness connector.
4. Disconnect three sensor harness clips from the vehicle.
5. Disconnect the sensor link (1) from the control arm ball stud (2).
6. Remove the nut (1) that retains the position sensor (2) to the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the position sensor (2) on the vehicle with the retainer nut (1).
- Tighten two screws to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the sensor link (1) to the control arm ball stud (2).
3. Connect the three sensor harness clips onto the vehicle.
4. Connect the sensor harness connector (1) to the vehicle harness connector.
5. Install the wheel onto the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Perform trim height adjustment. Refer to Trim Height Adjustment
