Inflatable Restraint Side Module Wiring Harness Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Inflator Module Handling And Storage Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system.






2. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) from seat (1).
3. With seat back panel remove the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module wiring harness (3) will be expose.
4. Remove the retaining clips that fastens side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install new side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat (1).
2. Install retaining clips that fastens side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat (1).
3. Install the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) to seat (1).
4. Enable the SIR system.
