Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the compact spare tire or the full size spare tire. Refer to Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (Without Fullsize Spare) (Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (Without Fullsize Spare))Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (With Fullsize Spare) (Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (With Fullsize Spare)) .




4. Remove the convenience net retainers (1) retaining the rear compartment trim panel to the floor.




5. Remove the retainers from the rear edge of the rear compartment front trim panel (1).
6. Remove the rear compartment front trim panel (1).
7. Remove the rear compartment trim panel (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear compartment trim panel (2).
2. Install the rear compartment front trim panel (1).
3. Install the retainers to the rear edge of the rear compartment front trim panel (1).




4. Install the convenience net retainers (1) to retain the rear compartment trim panel to the floor.
5. Install the compact spare tire or the full size spare tire. Refer to Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (Without Fullsize Spare) (Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (Without Fullsize Spare))Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (With Fullsize Spare) (Spare Wheel and Hold-Down Replacement (With Fullsize Spare)) .
6. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Close the rear compartment lid.
