Cellular Telephone Module Replacement (UV8 W/O UE1)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear compartment trim.
2. Remove the bay board fasteners (2).
3. Pull the bay board (1) away from the body and place the bay board (1) module side up in the rear compartment.
4. Disconnect the electrical connection from the cellular telephone module.
5. Remove the fasteners that retain the cellular phone module to the bay board.
6. Remove the cellular phone module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the cellular phone module in the mounting brackets.
2. Install the fasteners that retain the cellular phone module to the bay board.
3. Install the electrical connection to the cellular telephone module.
4. Position the bay board (1) to the studs on the body.
5. Install the bay board fasteners (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Install the rear compartment Trim.
