Transmitter

The transmitter unit is a battery powered, water resistant, radio frequency signal generator. Two transmitters are provided with each vehicle and each is uniquely recognized by the receiver module. The receiver module is capable of recognizing up to four transmitters. Replacement or spare transmitters for the vehicle may be obtained, however the receiver module must be reprogrammed to accept the new transmitter.

This system allows one transmitter to be matched to as many different factory equipped RKE Cadillacs as the owner chooses. Each car, however, can only have two transmitters matched to it.

To program several oars to one transmitter, follow the reprogramming procedure for each of the vehicles using the desired same transmitter. (Note: If two cars are matched to one transmitter, care should be taken when cars are parked near each other). Each vehicle has two transmitters labeled transmitter #1 and transmitter #2. Each transmitter is recognized individually by the receiver and sets programmable features to the correct setting for each transmitter.
