B2882
Circuit Description
The steering column module determines the position of the steering column based on inputs received from position sensors that are built into the tilt actuator and the telescoping actuator. The steering column module supplies a 5 volt reference and a ground to these sensors and monitors the column position via a tilt position signal circuit and a telescope position signal circuit.
