SERVICE BRAKE FLUID SWITCH

The IPC monitors the voltage level of the low brake fluid circuit at connector C2 terminal A11 (CKT 849). Using a 5 volts reference, the IPC monitors CKT 849 for an open or short to ground. It the IPC detects a voltage level of greater than 4.0 volts at terminal A1 1 for more than 1 second, CKT 849 is open. The IPC displays the message, illuminates the BRAKE indicator, and sends a message over the class 2 serial data line to the EBTCM.
