Oil Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure

Tools Required
J 36660-A Torque/Angle Meter

1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement.





2. Remove the three oil pump assembly retaining bolts (1,2,3) identified by the larger head size.
3. Slide the oil pump assembly off the nose of the crankshaft with the drive collar in place.
4. Remove the oil pump and the drive spacer.
5. Clean and inspect the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Clean and Inspect in Engine / Service and Repair / Unit Repair.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump Installation in Engine / Service and Repair / Unit Repair.
2. Install the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement.
