System Check - Ignition

Refer to A Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check in Computers and Control Systems.


1. If the engine cranks but will not run or immediately stalls. Determine if the failure is in the ignition system or the fuel system.
2. If any DTCs are set for the electronic ignition.
3. If a misfire is being experienced.
