Refrigerant Temperature Sensor: Description and Operation
A/C Low Side Temperature SensorThe low side temperature sensor is located in the evaporator hose assembly. The sensor is positioned between the evaporator and expansion tube. The Dash Integration Module (DIM) monitors the sensor to determine low side pressure based on the pressure to temperature relationships of R-134a and prevents evaporator core freeze in mild temperatures.
