Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Notice: Refer to Servicing and Replacing Seat Belt Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Remove the seat belt post rear trim cover.
2. Remove the shoulder belt retractor nut and pull outward the shoulder belt retractor in order to remove.
3. Remove lap retractor cover.
4. Drill the rivet (1) from the lap retractor cover bracket.
5. With the rivet removed (1) push downward on the bracket in order to remove the retractor assembly nut (2).
6. Remove the lap retractor nut (2) and remove the lap retractor assembly (3).
