Headlamp Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the upper filler panel.
3. Remove 2 bolts retaining the headlamp to the headlamp mounting bracket.




4. Pull the headlamp straight forward in order to disengage the locator pin at the outboard edge of the headlamp.




5. Disconnect the headlamp connector from the forward lamp wiring harness.
Remove the headlamp from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the headlamp to the vehicle. Connect the headlamp connector to the forward lamp wiring harness.




2. Position the outboard portion of the headlamp in order to align the locator pin with the headlamp mounting bracket.




3. Press the headlamp rearward in order to engage the locator pin with the headlamp mounting bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the 2 bolts that retain the headlamp to the headlamp mounting bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the headlamp mounting bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Install the upper filler panel.
6. Close the hood.
