Oil Line: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lift Points.





2. Remove the front air deflector.





3. Remove the engine oil cooler line and retaining clip from the cooler fitting.





4. Remove the engine oil cooler line retainer from radiator.
5. Disconnect the engine oil cooler lines from the engine.





6. Remove the engine oil cooler lines from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the engine oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
^ Tighten the engine oil cooler line to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
2. Install a new engine oil cooler quick connect fitting.
3. Install the engine oil cooler lines to the engine.





4. Install the engine oil cooler line retainer to the retainer.
^ Tighten the engine oil cooler line retainer to 8 Nm (70 inch lbs.).
5. Install the front air deflector.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Install the engine oil cooler lines to the radiator.
^ Tighten the engine oil cooler line to 20 Nm (l5 ft. lbs.).
8. Check the engine oil level.
