Valet Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the instrument panel storage compartment door.
2. Use a flat bladed tool to disengage the IP storage compartment bezel retainers.
3. Partially remove the bezel.




4. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
5. Remove the bezel.
6. Disengage the retainers fastening the rear compartment lid enable switch. Remove the rear compartment lid enable switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the rear compartment lid enable switch to the instrument panel storage compartment bezel. Push the switch inward in order to fasten.
2. Connect the rear compartment lid enable switch electrical connector (1).
3. Align the IP storage compartment bezel to the IP storage compartment.
4. Push the bezel inward in order to fasten.
5. Close the instrument panel storage compartment door.
