General Description

The mirror select switch on the LH front power window switch is placed in L or R to indicate the mirror to be moved. The LH front power window switch receives the active high input from the mirror select switch and also receives an active high input from the mirror switch when the switch is actuated. The four mirror switch contacts are in the corners of the switch. The contacts are left-up, left-down, right-up, and right-down. When the mirror switch is actuated in a direct up, down, left, or right direction, the switch hit two of the contacts. The LH front power window switch recognizes the two contact input as a one direction input in the direction common to the two inputs. The LH front power window switch then sends a message on the Simple Bus Interface (SBI) to the driver door module or the passenger door module depending on the position of the mirror select switch indicating that the mirror switch need to be moved. Each mirror has two reversible motors that the door modules control by supplying Battery Positive Voltage (B+) and ground to these motors.
