Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side (LHD)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
2. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) upper trim pad.
3. Remove the two fasteners from the trim panel to IP retainer.
4. Remove the PSIR module.




5. Remove the two fasteners from straps at carrier.
6. Pull rearward on the trim panel to disengage the three snap clips and remove the trim plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Align the trim panel to the IP retainer.
2. Push forward on the trim plate to engage the three snap clips while aligning the A/C housings to the A/C ducts.
3. Install the two fasteners from the trim panel to the IP retainer.




4. Install the fasteners from the straps to the carrier.
5. Install the PSIR.
6. Install the IP upper trim pad.
7. Enable the SIR. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
