Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the fasteners (1) at the rear edge of the insulator.
2. Push in on the snap tab retainers to release.




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2) as necessary.
4. Slide the insulator (3) rearward in the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Set the forward edge of the panel onto shelf on carpeting at front of vehicle.
2. Reconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2).




3. Align the insulator to the floor duct at the HVAC module.
4. Align the snap tab fasteners to the instrument panel (IP) lower and push upward to engage.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the insulator fasteners (1) into the lower IP.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
