Rear Body Mount Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tires wheels.





3. Using a block of wood and a suitable jack, support the exhaust and the rear support assembly.





4. Remove the four exhaust hangers.
5. Remove two rear support assembly bolts.
6. Lower the rear of the support assembly and the exhaust together.





7. Remove two bolts at the body mount.
8. Remove the rear body mount.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the rear body mount.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts securing the body mount.
- Tighten the bolts to 51 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).





3. Raise the support assembly and exhaust.
4. Install the two rear bolts securing the support assembly to the vehicle body.
- Tighten the bolts to 191 Nm (141 ft. lbs.).





5. Install the four exhaust hangers.
6. Install the tires and wheels.
- Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).

7. Lower the vehicle.
