CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Battery voltage is supplied to the CVRSS module at connector C1, terminal B1. The CVRSS module monitors the supplied battery voltage to determine if it is within a valid operating range.
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
^ DTC C1326 sets when the battery voltage is above approximately 17.5 volts.
^ DTC C1326 sets when the battery voltage falls below approximately 9.0 volts.
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
^ DTC C1326 clears when the battery voltage is less than 16.5 volts.
^ DTC C1326 clears when the battery voltage is greater than 10 volts.
DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
^ DTC C1326 disables the ability to set most other CVRSS DTCs.
^ DTC C1326 may set when the vehicle is placed on a battery charger, on fast charge, for a long period of time.
TEST DESCRIPTION
The number(s) below refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.
1. This test determines whether the malfunction is in the charging system or the CVRSS control module.
