CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
- When the TTM detects two simultaneous inputs for more than two seconds, the module considers the inputs invalid and sets the DTC.

- The TTM no longer moves the steering column in the direction of the invalid inputs.
- The TTM continues to respond to valid inputs from the other manual switches.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
- The TTM determines that the tilt/telescope switch is no longer active.
- Use the On-Boards clearing DTCs feature.
- Use a scan tool.
