Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Cluster

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the Instrument Panel (IP) upper trim pad.
2. Remove the two fasteners, one on each side of the cluster.
3. Disconnect the left (1) and right (2) Drivers Information Center (DIC) switch electrical connectors.
4. Rotate the IP cluster trim (3) rearward from the top and lift out of IP retainer.
5. Remove the left and right drivers information center switches.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the DIC switches to the IP cluster trim panel.
2. Slide the lower edge of IP cluster trim plate down behind woodgrain trim.
3. Reconnect the two electrical connectors (1, 2) to DIC switches.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the two fasteners from the trim panel to IP retainer.

Tighten
Tighten the IP cluster trim panel fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the IP upper trim pad.
