REMOVAL PROCEDURE

- Tools Required
- J 36660-A Torque/Angle Meter

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the engine front crossmember frame.
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator bolts.





4. Remove the stabilizer shaft.
5. Remove the insulators from the stabilizer shaft.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the insulators to the stabilizer shaft.





2. Install the stabilizer shaft.
3. Use the J 36660-A in order to install the stabilizer shaft insulator bolts.
- Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) + 37°.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Important: Use new stabilizer shaft insulator bolts.

4. Install the engine front crossmember frame.
5. Lower the vehicle.
