Description:

Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System.
2. Move the seat to the full forward position.
3. Remove the seatback panel.
4. Remove the Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module electrical connector.
5. Remove the nuts from Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module.
6. Remove the Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module from seatback.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module to seatback.

Notice: Refer to Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts to Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module.

Tighten
Tighten the Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module nuts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the Inflatable Restraint Front Seat Module electrical connector.
4. Install the seatback panel.
5. Install the seat to original position.
6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System.
